Marathon is well known as the fishing capital of the US. Our guests all love the tranquility and privacy of Seabird Key, as well as the natural beauty of being on your own tropical island, but if you’re looking to explore the Keys….. The local coral reefs and offshore and back country (Everglades) fishing is legendary (bonefish, tarpon, permit, sailfish, wahoo, snapper, grouper) and is ranked as the best in the world.
Seabird’s 19′ runabout is available for your personal use and is perfect for snorkeling or fishing in the calm waters surrounding the island. Enjoy a lovely sunset cruise and have dinner at one of Marathon’s “laid-back” waterfront restaurants. The kids (big and small) will enjoy the towing tube for a really fun filled day.
Kayaking, paddle boarding
